Webapp/API Updates

Effective September 30, 2026 (and not before), the Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC) will implement infrastructure updates affecting several public-facing web applications and APIs. All existing URLs and endpoints will remain fully operational until that date. Please review the upcoming changes below for the tools you use.

DONKI (Database of Notifications, Knowledge, Information) System

• Web Application Updates: Fully rewritten interface featuring enhanced search, filtering, visual exploration, and event/linked-event visualization tools.  The new DONKI interface encompasses DONKI Dashboard Plots, Tables, Event chains, Search, Catalogs, and Statistics.

• Action Required: Update web bookmarks to the new UI URL. Update all automated scripts and code bases to point to the new API and Report endpoints.

CME Arrival Time Scoreboard (Earth)

• Details: Fully rewritten application featuring an updated user interface.

• Action Required: Update web browser bookmarks to the new URL. If you utilize the CME Scoreboard API, update your script endpoints to the new base URL.

Flare Scoreboard

• Details: Completely rewritten standalone application (no longer integrated as an ISWA cygnet).

• Action Required: Transition to use the new standalone web application URL instead of the ISWA cygnet. If you utilize the Flare Scoreboard API, update your scripts to the new API endpoints.

CCMC Metadata Registry (CMR)

• Details: Completely redesigned user interface.

Instant Run

• Details: Relocation of the web application domain to the main CCMC server host.

• Action Required: Please update browser bookmarks to the current URL.
