ADELPHI on Instant Run
July 2025
On July 16, 2025, the ADELPHI (web simulator) became available to the community through the CCMC instant run (IR) service via this link.
This online tool provides an interactive platform for users to simulate instantaneous storm-time high-latitude electrodynamics including 2D map of the electric potential, electric field, ionospheric currents, Joule heating, precipitating particle energy flux in addition to derived quantities such as the cross polar cap voltage and the auroral electrojet (AE) index by estimating Hall and Pedersen conductances according to a correlation study between field aligned currents (FACs) measured by Active Magnetosphere and Planetary Electrodynamics Response Experiment (AMPERE)
